This year, many of the usual places to see holiday light displays in Northeast Ohio are turning to drive-thru events in light of the current pandemic. I’ve teamed up with Ohio. Winter Fest in Cleveland’s Public Square
This is a personal favorite of mine! I always love the see the Christmas lights and decorations in Downtown Cleveland’s Public Square. It always makes me feel so festive and is a great way to get into the Christmas spirit!
There is no cost to enjoy these lights.
There will be light shows in Public Square three times per hour, every hour, daily starting at 4 pm until 10 pm. These shows run until January 3, 2021.

Wild Winter Lights at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo
Growing up in the Cleveland area, my family and I would always love to go to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo to enjoy all of the beautiful light displays there. Now you can easily drive through the zoo and admire the lights in your warm vehicle!
You can purchase tickets through this link for the drive-thru lights show are $54 per car for Zoo members and $60 per car for non-members.
They recommend purchasing your tickets online ahead of time as there are limited time slots available each day.

Bethlehem Hills Christmas Light Park in Chesterland
Bethlehem Hills Christmas Light Park goes all out for their holiday lights each year. You can enjoy a scenic 1.25-mile drive in a winter wonderland in Chesterland, Ohio. My family and I really enjoyed visiting these super fun drive-thru Christmas lights in Northeast Ohio.
The cost is $28 per car, under 8 passengers, and $39 for cars over 8 people, limos, and busses.

Magic of Lights at Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds
The Magic of Lights display at Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds is presented by Wow! Internet, Cable, and Phone and is located in Middleburg Heights. This display has a 1-mile drive through for you and your family to enjoy!
Purchase your tickets in advance through this link for a discounted rate. The cost for this event is $23 Monday – Thursday and $30 Friday – Sunday. Cost is per vehicle.
These events run through January 2, 2021.
Location: Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds, 19201 E. Bagley Rd, Middleburg Heights, Ohio (MUST enter at Bagley Road entrance!)
Country Lights Drive-Thru at the Farm Park
My nephews love to visit the Country Lights events each year at the Lake Metroparks Farm Park in Kirtland. This year it is a drive-thru only event, but it is still so much fun!
The cost of tickets is $27.50 per carload. Tickets sold in advance only – you can buy them through this link. There are $5 toy kits available – they are optional (but suggested) that can be purchased at check out as well.
Country Lights runs through December 22, 2020.

GE Lighting’s Nela Park Holiday Lights
This is the 96th annual holiday lights display at Nela Park put on by GE Lighting! The lights display is a Cleveland staple that has been enjoyed by so many for years. My dad remembers fondly the times he visited these Christmas lights many times growing up.
You can see this drive-thru Christmas lights in Northeast Ohio through January 4, 2021.

Joy of Christmas in Columbiana
The Joy of Christmas lights display in Columbiana, Ohio is located in Harvey S. Firestone Park. This is another location on Ohio. Find It Here.’s Drivable Holiday Lights Trail. These events take place on Thursday nights – Sunday nights through December 27, 2020.
If you would like to visit this festive drive-thru Christmas lights display, you will need to make an appointment by e-mailing [email protected].
Donations are suggested of $10 per vehicle or you may wish to purchase a $25 season pass.

Drive-Thru Holiday Lights at Medina County Fairgrounds
If you live in or near Medina County, you will definitely want to visit the areas largest holiday lights display at the Medina County Fairgrounds.
These events are happening on December 11, 12, 13, 18-30 from 6 pm – 10 pm.
The cost is $10.00 per car, $20.00 per van/small bus, or $60.00 per bus. Cash or check is accepted before entry.

Other Drive-Thru Christmas Lights Ideas
You don’t have to drive far to see many beautiful Christmas lights. You can even just drive around your own neighborhood, or around Downtown Cleveland! Or visit your own town square which is sure to be looking festive, or drive around our outdoor shopping centers. Crocker Park, Legacy Village, and Pinecrest are all very beautifully decorated this year. And while you’re visiting, you might like to do some Christmas shopping and support local businesses this holiday season.
