Park City Travel Guide: Where to Stay
Table of Contents
Park City has a few very popular resorts that have the perfect mountain town vibes. The Montage Deer Valley, St. Regis Deer Valley, and the Stein Eriksen Lodge are all ski-in/ski-out resorts with excellent views and amenities. The Waldorf Astoria Park City is another amazing luxury hotel with a full-service spa. If cool, boutique hotels are more your style, check out Washington School House. I love staying at the Hyatt Centric when I’m not staying with family! You can also find some great private home rentals through VRBO.
How To Get Around
When you’re visiting Park City, there are a few great options for transportation. You will fly into Salt Lake City International Airport which is an easy (and stunning!) 45-minute drive to Park City. You can take an Uber or Taxi from the airport, or most resorts have airport shuttles to the hotels. If you want more freedom to explore the surrounding area, you can rent a car. For a more budget-friendly option, check out the free public transportation that will drive you all around Park City. During nice weather months, you will also find e-bikes that you will find around the city.
Things To Know Before You Go
Before you visit Park City Utah, there are a few things you need to know. First of all, elevation sickness is no joke! Be sure to prepare for your trip by drinking lots of water leading up to your trip. If you are prone to headaches, bring some ibuprofen along, or maybe even take one before your flight. You may not think of Park City as a desert because it is in the middle of the mountains, but it is very dry, especially in the summer. I always find that I need to hydrate much more than usual while I’m there. Bring your lotion and chapstick too!
